This hotel is conveniently located near NYC. Its staff went out of their way to make us happy.
This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk people were very knowledgeable and friendly. They gave us an excellent recommendation for a nearby restaurant.

The exceptionally friendly front desk staff took care of us immediately and was a pleasure to deal with. The rooms were clean, bright, and comfortable. Overall, it was one of the better hotel stays I've had.
This hotel made me feel welcome: The front desk staff was friendly, courteous, and actually smiled. We had questions about public transportation in the area and they knew the answers and didn't just shove a bus schedule at us. They explained that if we return after a certain hour, that we would need our room keys to get into the lobby.

The hotel looks nice from the outside. The lobby is decent. There was a stuffy odor upon entering the hotel and in our room with the AC on, the odor was not really that noticeable. The beds are extremely cushy. The bathroom is okay, but had poor drainage in shower and sink. The continental breakfast is okay. The location of the hotel is great, it's takes less than 15 minutes to get to NYC Port Authority on the #163 or #164 bus.
