The location was good because it was in close proximity to a shopping mall, many restaurants, shopping centers, and an interstate highway. Those who travel by car should bring some food from home with them to prepare because the rooms have a full kitchen. I loved the wireless Internet.

We were very happy about the people and the rooms were so clean and the bathroom was also clean. This is very important to us. The beds were also comfortable. We will only stay at the Fairfield when traveling. We would never stay in a Holiday Inn, they were so dirty.

Despite many positive experiences, there were problems. I am a platinum member, and when a mistake was made by the hotel staff on our arrival time we were treated poorly. The Fairfield Inn by Marriott Columbia was not as nice I had expected, and should I make a similar trip I will most likely stay at a different Marriott hotel, not a Fairfield brand.
