Our final overnighter of a long family road trip which included stops at Zion, Bryce, Estes Park, Santa Fe and Grand Canyon. This was the worst of all motels during our trip... We arrived at 8:50pm to find the lobby staff all in the front of the building on a "smoke break" asking us "can I help you" while puffing away. The ice machines were not working and according to the staff, they have not worked for 2 months. Ice was provided by the front desk however we had to ask and the allotment was a bag about the size of a quart bag. The room was clean, the sink faucet was difficult to use - full pressure or a drip...Also, my wife did not feel safe due to a few shady-looking characters that seemed to be sitting between the buildings smoking and watching her with a grin as she walked to the room. The doors to the buildings were not locked and when we checked we were told they would be locked by 10PM. They were not locked at 10PM. The morning was no better - the breakfast was pretty much wiped out by the time we went to the lobby at 8:30AM. No coffee and no cereal for the kids. Bread picked over however there was batter for the waffles - good. Food establishments all close at 9PM and only choice is fast food that closes at 10PM so we were able to eat dinner...next time we may try a venue in Flagstaff. Not a terrible place considering options but not worth the price - just be prepared and have low expectations.

The heating unit was unsatisfactory. It can only be turned on or off, so it got very hot in the room. This was during a period of very cold weather so with the heater off it then got way too cold.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Fairfield Inn Williams Grand Canyon.
I might recommend it to friends.
