#1 the television service in the hotel went out for several hours during an evening of some really exciting college football games and they just said, "We know, this is a reoccurring problem."
#2 My group reserved 6 rooms, the hotel was all but empty except for my people, we asked politely for a late checkout (1pm) and the manager, said "NO. Noon is standard checkout time and the best I can do is give a late checkout to 2 of the 6 rooms."
???? Does that make any sense? I informed him that we travel for a living and that USUALLY hotels can accommodate such a request, and that typically, it's based upon occupancy, of which, they had SLIM to NONE. He told me, it's HIS decision, and that he absolutely won't do 6 rooms for a late checkout.
This is one hotel that won't get my airline's repeat business. He reminded me why I usually pick the Hilton Family for a hotel stay. Thanks buddy.
Other than the tool behind the desk, the hotel was what you typically expect from the Marriott family, new, clean,quiet, and nice.

I made reservations for several people in my family to attend my grandmother's funeral. The hotel employees went out of their way to make our stay pleasant and they were very friendly and helpful. They recently converted some rooms from smoking to non smoking and when my assigned room still smelt like cigarette smoke, they upgraded me to a suite, at no charge. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. They really went above and beyond. I highly recommend them.
It had a comfortable bed and a CD player in the room.
