We stayed at the Fairfield Inn in Newark and had an outstanding experience. The hotel is clean, well managed and the staff is phenomenal. Everyone from the Front Desk, specifically Virginia, to Houskeeping are well trained and make you feel at...

The front desk staff was the most helpful of all my past two hundred stays at Marriott properties. After an extremely hard day, I left my cell phone in the cab and had no contact information for the cab company. The staff went out of their way to help locate the cab, provide detailed directions to the driver to return the phone, and would not accept a gratuity. That is excellent service, in my book.
The front desk manager offered to make me a cup of tea to help me calm down and relax. No one has ever offered me tea!

Even Lewis & Clark would find it hard to get to this hotel because it's on an island between two busy highway. The traffic means you'd better be ready for constant highway noise all night. No Wifi internet in the room-you can only use it...
