I was surprised they had no elevator. I reserved our room in advance and still got a room next to the stairs, which were very noisy. The rooms are poorly insulated against sound, you can here the talking in the next room and all surrounding showers...
We just stayed there June 2007. No room was under $129.00 when reservations were made by phone, but the guy who checked in next to us got the identical room for $20 less. The rooms, supposedly recently remodeled were very cheap and ugly looking....

The staff was very friendly and helpfull with the area. Breakfast was good, pool area was clean and nice, my kid loved it, wanted to be in it all the time. i will for sure book again next year.

Hotel is at a convenience location, with easy highway access, and approximately 15 minutes to Cedar Point. Rooms are large and nicely appointed, with free cable and movie channels.

I was impressed with the quality of the bedding. It seemed to be upgraded from the last time that we stayed at a Fairfield Inn. The bed was very comfortable. The front desk staff was also very friendly and accommodating.
I am not likely
to return to the Fairfield Inn Port Clinton.
I might recommend it to friends.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Fairfield Inn in Port Clinton. I had confirmed reservations at the Sleep Inn across the street, arrived late in the evening, and found it "Closed for the season". Not only did Fairfield honor my Sleep Inn reservations, but also the rate. It was done all with a smile and an exceptionally clean hotel.
We had a real nice stay here. People were friendly and helpful, free shuttle to and from the Jet Express. They gave us 10% off coupons for the Jet Express also. Good, clean, well maintained breakfast and it was close to everything.
