Okay
If you are looking for a hotel during NASCAR weekend, I would put this hotel on your list of interest. This hotel will fulfill your expectations. Right off I-10, good staff, roof over your head that has a clean room. Usually a buffet breakfast...
24 year old male with a luxury budget, traveling for business
I travel 2 - 3 weeks a month and stay at Marriott hotels nationwide, but this last experience was awful.
Looking past the fact that room preferences were wrong, and that the entire east end of the hotel had flooded, so fans were out with hoses running through the hallways, the hotel decided to have the carpet cleaners in each of our rooms.
I left that morning around 8 am and returned around 6 pm in the evening to find my door open with no hoses in the hallways, so obviously the cleaning crew had packed their stuff up and left no one to watch my things. The furniture was on the bed including trash cans and foot rests, as well as the closet items tossed in the bathroom. I called the front desk and informed them, and they simply apologized with no explanation of why my room door was left open.
So moving past that, I woke up the next morning to take a shower and in the tub were the contents of the wet vacuum, complete with black grime and dirt all over the inside of it. That was the last draw and never will I stay at another Fairfield Inn.
