Although it is not in the most scenic part of town, the location is convenient to the Kannapolis Concord area. There are several restaurants and drug stores within a mile or two of the location. This was my second stay at the hotel, and, as was true the first time, the accommodations were very comfortable and afforded my family a nice time while we were visiting relatives in the area.

It was clean and as expected for a Fairfield hotel.

The location was good, however when a totally disabled wheelchair-bound person is placed on the third floor and the elevator is out for over four days, there is a problem!

The nonchalant way this was handled was infuriating and the impact it had on what should have been a great NASCAR vacation of a lifetime was upsetting. The staff at this hotel needs to be confined to a wheelchair for five days and told "We are sorry, but the elevator needs a part, so you need figure out how to make it work as there are no rooms to move you to while the elevator is awaiting repair."

This is not only dangerous, it is wrong! Marriott should be ashamed of the lack of supervision it is providing it's chain hotels and an in-depth look into the accessibility of their hotel rooms must be made. All accessible rooms for wheelchair-bound travelers should be on the first floor, and when a roll in shower is requested it needs to be available and reserved upon check-in. They should not permit this to happen to another mobility impaired person. Compensation of $100 is nothing. Action upon this horrible situation is everything!

This hotel is in a nice location -- convenient to the interstate and race track. It has a really nice staff, and the accessible rooms are very good.

I felt pampered because of their friendly service from all their staff and the cleanliness of their rooms and the comfort of their furniture. I really enjoyed my stay.
