I usually try to stay at Fairfield Inns when possible because the rooms are comfortable and they usually serve a continental breakfast. The pools are a nice treat after traveling. They are usually well located and easy to find.
I was talked to like I was a person, when I checked in. My wife and I were meeting family there and my family was made to feel welcome and treated with kindness.

The room was less than clean and there was hair on the floor. The evening buffet was less than acceptable with very little choice and ran out before we got there soon after it began. The room was supposed to have a fireplace which it didn't - I believe I paid for one. There was no pool - I had to use a pool at the next hotel, which closed early. The check in clerk was unfriendly and gave us no information.
