Fairfield Bay Resort

The staff is tops. Everyone was friendly. The downside is that everything is so spread out that you have to drive everywhere. We arrived with hopes that we would be able to send the teenage kids to the pool, or to the putt putt, or to the game room. Nope, had to drive them everywhere. One more negative was that when we checked in they told us that the nearest pool to us was under repairs, since we were just checking in, we did not realize that the kids would not be able to walk to the next nearest pool. My wife mentioned that the closed pool was not good, but the staff made no offer to put us in a condo closer to another pool. Would go back but only after picking the condo we would be staying in. (you want to stay near the Bay View Racket club, that's the most central location) The library is really nice, it saved our trip as you can check out many videos.

This hotel made me feel secure: Remote location, not a lot of people.

I/we do not use hotels/motels. We own six weeks per year at three different resorts, of which fairfield bay is one.

This hotel made me feel welcome: More than profesionally pleasant to us as owners of our time-share. Going several extra steps to ensure our satisfaction in all things, large or small. Better than average knowedge and service of their concierge.
