56 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for leisure

Having read some negative reviews after I booked the hotel, I approached my stay with trepidation. What I found was a pleasant lobby, plain-but-pleasant room with kitchen, and friendly, helpful service. So much for trusting Internet kvetches.

Listen, some of the previous slams are thoroughly unfounded. This is a hotel designed for longer-term (usually business) visitors, and a few minutes of research would have informed folks like Acbadura and Not.Satisfied that there is, in fact, no room service and only weekly maid service, and that if you want your towels replaced, you have to go to the front desk and ask for new ones. That's not an unpleasant secret - it's right there on the hotel's Website. While lotion and shampoo are not automatically in the room, a booklet tells you that the front desk will provide those gratis, as well as toothbrushes, razors, and the like. I had no problem getting toothpaste when I ran out.

My room, at least, was well-kept and clean. There might not have been a coffee table, but there was a kitchen table, and instead of plastic drinking glasses, there were glass ones. No, there was no ice bucket, but there was a full-sized refrigerator with ice trays. The bathroom sink had a fairly spacious counter top. As the hotel is set up for guests cooking their own meals, "continental breakfast" was not advertised as being included - a "deluxe coffee bar" was. This included a few types of coffee, lots of bagels and cream cheese, and apples - not elaborate, but an adequate morning snack.

It's not a fabulous place, no, but if I could do it in good conscience, I'd overrate my stay just to balance out the unfair criticisms of other posters.

I am very likely to return to the Extended Stay Deluxe Las Vegas.
I might recommend it to friends.

47 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Sunday Sept.2th ,07 my husband and i checked in about 11;30 p.m, in our room the toilet wouldn't flush. we told the hotel secuity guard, he did nothin about it. Mon. Sept. 3rd,07 we told 2 hotel attandants at the front desk nothing was done about it. there was hardley no lighting in the bathroom, no plastic cups to drink water, no ice bin to put ice in only plastic bags. there was no shampoo, lotion, in the bathroom there was only 2 bath towels and 1 wash cloth through out our stay. the continental breakfast was lousy no juice or milk

the room was not cleaned by a house keeper. the day we checked out Tues. Sept. 4th,07 the hotel front attandant was sleeping and didn't ask how our stay was. stay away from this hotel no good.

52 year old man with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

We stayed there on March 30 - 31, 2007.

The staff was friendly and helpful, but the hotel accommodations were poor, especially for the price ($110 per night tax included). There was no room service, a poorly equipped room, a noisy refrigerator, the shower was terrible, the removable shower nozzle was located at the hip area, the bathroom sink with no counter space to put personal items, and there was just a sink attached to the wall.

We asked for double queen with pullout couch, and we got a single queen with couch. The couch did not have sheets, we had to put them on ourselves, and there were no extra pillows for the pullout.

The continental breakfast was bad, just plain bagels, butter and jam, coffee, a few apples and oranges, and no juice for kids.

Overall, it was a dismal stay. It reminded me of a rundown Motel 6. The pool was in poor condition. There was no shampoo or conditioner with the room. At $110 per night, we felt ripped off. All we got was a sparsely furnished room, no coffee table with couch, a gloomy place with no amenities to enjoy. Go somewhere else. It was a bad experience for the price. It was the worst hotel/motel we have ever stayed in. We left after two nights, we just couldn't take it anymore.

I am not likely to return to the Extended Stay Deluxe Las Vegas.
I would not recommend it to friends.

Check in took an extremely long time. The room was very clean. The people at the front desk were nice, but very stressed.
