Extended Stay Deluxe Atlanta Alpharetta Hotel

I had a reservation for 3 nights. Somehow they never got me into the computer system even after I checked in. So when I left the first day they went in and threw away my shampoo, etc. When I woke up the next morning and realized they threw my stuff away, I called down to the front-desk to ask if they had some complimentary that I could use and they said no. I had to walk across the street to a gas-station. Before I left for that day I explained what happened and they said it was a computer problem and they would fix it. But it happened AGAIN the next day! They threw away my stuff again! On top of that, the room smelled, the remote didn't work, and at one point they checked someone else into my room and didn't change the locks. I heard another guest complaining that their door wouldn't even lock. Absolutely horrible hotel (I would have checked out early but everything else was booked). Do yourself a favor and stay away!!!

* The room stinks with cigarette and dog smell. I requested a transfer, but was told I will have to wait until a couple of days.

* No cleaning when you request on weekends.

* Personnel does not know what is going on, was told I should not have been put on that room. Ask to speak to a manager and was told that I had to wait until Monday.

Come Monday, I just gave up and checked-out and move somewhere else.

The wireless access was a plus and worked well. The people were friendly. There was no problem at check out. We were directed to good places to eat.

This hotel made me feel welcome: Our reservation was found quickly on arrival. The help with the wireless was good. I was greeted by employees often.

We arrived after 11 pm, if you do this, you will be locked out. They are not staffed from 11am - 7pm. If you are lucky, after 30 minutes the night staff people will let you in. My wife and I were accused of smoking in our room (we do not smoke) and the toilet was broken. The TV was not working, which they eventually fixed, it was wired wrong, to which they told us not to be "monkeying" with the wiring, which we had not. My wife told them we had not, they proceeded to call her a liar.

There is no housekeeping and you cannot get new towels without physically bringing your old ones to the front desk. This was a painful stay and one I would highly recommend avoiding as there are plenty of nice hotels in Alpharetta. I assure you, I was not the only guest there this week with the same general impression.
