The previous reviewer gave this a 10/10?? I guess, if you only frequent Motel 6.
This is not a hotel. None of them are. They're motels. And Deluxe? Compared to their awful standard motels, maybe. Thin pillows (bring your own). Throw the bed cover aside, as you don't know where it's been.
I was greeted by a succinct smell of what seemed like garbage in the lobby on the first floor tonight. Thankfully, it didn't permeate to the 3rd floor.
And, there were 2 of the front desk clerk's thug-dressed friends talking with him at the front desk for a long time.
The wireless Internet "service" must have gone to the lowest bidder in all their motels, as it never works well, and there's no wired backup. Even my Linksys wireless router, that acts as a repeater in other real hotels, can't pick up the weak signals. Thankfully, they only charge you $5 for the entire stay.
Do not pay list prices. They're worth half list, if that. I only got stuck here via Hotwire.
Hotel? No. Super8 with a kitchenette, maybe. At least, there are no cockroach traps under the furniture here like at their Atlanta Lenox location.
