We enjoyed our stay at the Extended Stay Deluxe Downtown. It is not a fancy hotel, but it does not have a fancy price, either. The staff was super.
We used the shuttle several times and had great service. The breakfast bar was especially good when it had the make-your-own waffles on it. The pool is not great, but good (small and cold when we were there). The hot tub was great.
It was just a short walk to the Saturday Market and gift shops. I would definitely stay here again!!

It fit our needs well. The room was very hot had to unplug the wall unit because it would only blow hot air. 80 degrees in the room is way to hot for us by about 20 degrees.

Horrible
Desk management "forgot" to mention that there was a boiler problem when we checked in-not a problem if you like to take cold showers! We contacted the desk clerk in the morning-she was good enough to refund our money.
39 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
They totally messed up our credit card at check in but even worse my husband was shocked by the TV! I have seen bigger puddles than the pool and the hot tub was about the same size. But the staff found us at the breakfast bar to tell us my daughter was having a baby!
I am not likely
to return to the Extended Stay Deluxe Anchorage - Downtown.
I would not recommend it to friends.
I wanted a night out last month. I need a clean and affordable hotel. After comparing a few different hotels I found that Aspen was by far the most affordable and comfortable.
