Stayed for 5 weeks total, for a customer install at nearby hospital. I rely heavily on high speed internet for my job during off hours. This hotel is using false advertising by saying it has "high speed internet." And you have to pay for it! The above information about the hotel needs to be fixed. The INTERNET IS SLOW, AND IT'S NOT FREE. It averages a 300-500ms ping time, which is about half the speed of a dial up connection.
No hotel worth its salt makes people pay for internet access anymore. It's terribly slow, 24 hours a day. It's not even as fast as dial up. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years, most have free internet and it works 100 times better than this. You can call the help desk, but nobody there speak discernible english, and they don't fix anything anyway.
The front desk staff is apathetic and hardly ever even there. When I checked in it felt like a robot was reading the hotel rules and regulations to me. No smiles, no sense of humor, I tried to joke around and the person just looked at my like I had an ear growing out of my forehead. I have been at this hotel for 5 weeks now, and only one woman on the housekeeping staff remembers me, and she sees me like once a week. No shampoo, no ice, no nothing. Bring everything yourself. I used my own utensils and plates and glasses, as the stuff provided is consistently covered with ... whatever sticky substance that is. I don't plan on finding out.
On the plus side, the bed is comfortable. But what's up with the dinky little 19 inch TV? The only nice person I met my entire 5 week stay was a woman from housekeeping.
