Extended StayAmerica Louisville Hotel - Page 1

Poor Extended StayAmerica. I have stayed at many different Extended StayAmericas in the past but was really disappointed with this one. The toilet did not flush correctly, the rooms were filthy, and the lights were not working. Plus, the room noise from above was very loud.

During check in I was not given the internet access code and by the time I tried to log on the front desk was gone for the night.

I like the price and the ability to make it home for an extended time.

This hotel was conveniently located near a shopping district and several restaurants, just off a main street. The staff was very courteous, and willing to help us out if we needed anything. They also learned our names and seemed interested in getting to know us as people, not just as consumers. The hotel chain is perfect for anyone who will be staying in a location on business or for a vacation for a longer length of time because the rooms have full kitchens, in addition to being very comfortable and homey. My husband discovered the chain while he was traveling for work, and loved the fact that he could save on expenses by buying his own food at a local grocery store and fixing himself simple meals in the hotel, rather than eating fast food for his entire stay. We also appreciated the fact that the chain is very reasonably priced, and you can sign up to receive e-mail updates and specials to use if you travel frequently.

This hotel made me feel respected: The staff treated us very well, and was very polite. There was a minor mix-up regarding the price we'd been quoted, and the desk person allowed us to use the business computer to print a copy of the confirmation e-mail from my husband's e-mail account. She could have easily ignored our request or thought we were making the quote up, but she believed us and helped us more than I would have expected.
