Extended StayAmerica Anaheim Hotel - Page 1

The location is great, in walking distance to the Anaheim Convention Center and the Disney complex. It was a wonderful chance to save money because I could shop at a supermarket and then cook my meals or at least bring in meats, cheeses, bread and already made salads. You could keep your drinks cold. But, my advice is to get a small bottle of dishwashing liquid. The common area carpets need to be replaced or have a major cleaning, as in the last year the condition has deteriorated, but considering the price per night that I paid I cannot fault them on this.

This was my first experience with this hotel and I was pleasantly pleased with the fact that it had the kitchenette. It cut down on my total costs for the time I was there. The facility was within walking distance of the convention center I was attending and also was linked to the center by a tram. The room was quiet, comfortably heated, and definitely met all my needs.

This hotel made me feel welcome: We were greeted nicely at the reception desk. We were greeted by the staff I passed in the hallways.

The dirty room smelt of smoke.

You couldn't beat the price. I was there for a convention and most everyone else stayed at much more expensive locations. I was only two and a half blocks from the convention center and was able to save money by bringing in food and cooking for myself. I even invited others from my local area to join me for a late night snack and found I really didn't need to even get plates or silverware. This is a wonderful budget location that purchasing early allowed me to plan my trip and know that I wasn't going to spend a fortune for a place that all I was going to use for was sleep and wash up. A bed, a television, table and chairs, and the kitchenette added up to a great trip.

This hotel made me feel content: A comfortable room, with the knowledge that I wasn't spending a lot, made me happy.
