Last year (13 Sep 06) I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and all my belongings were stolen by the lady cleaning the hotel room. I fortunately recovered my old passport & few other things. But I lost my air ticket, train ticket, toiletaries, electric toothbrush etc. The manager agreed to reimburse the expenses to buy the stolen items but never kept his word.
I had to pay for reissuing the air ticket and I missed my flight to Dammam. Even the 'Guest Relations' at IHG did not help to recover the money. However, the cleaning contractor bought me the train ticket & dropped me to the station.
I still have the copy of the police complaint.
