Exotic Sunset Fine Accommodations & Spa Services - Page 1

We thought that we had really stumbled on something great when we got to our Exotic Sunset cottage. However, we can't ever justify staying there again or recommending it.

The entire place is blanketed in rules and warning signs. Don't use too much electricity, don't dirty the dishes, “Don't do anything” is the basic message. Everywhere you look is another page of rules or little signs about every little thing.

Plus, they advertised as a bed and breakfast, but did not provide any breakfast other than a small loaf of homemade bread (which they laughingly advertised as a 'continental breakfast'). The worst things were that the water coming out of the faucets smelled like sewage or rotten eggs, so you couldn't enjoy the bath or take a shower, and that they charged us an extra $50 after we left (without telling us) because of some dirty dishes.

We paid over $175/night for this place and we are not allowed to leave a couple of dirty dishes?

Stay away from this place. There are much better deals and places in Wimberley.
