Stayed here Aug 07 and Aug 08. Both stays pleasant, altho street side noisy from the freeway traffic. Waterside room quiter for sleeping. Rooms were comfortable, clean and roomy for two people. Staff very friendly. Free parking. Easy access to freeway. Nice continental breakfast. No doubt, will stay here again later this month (March 09) and not look at other hotels.

Excellent
I loved the bath tub/shower. The room was very comfortable and stylish. Loved the radio!I did not like the bathroom where the toilet was. The light was in the wrong spot. I sat in the dark a lot. I loved my stay here. I could live in this facility.
I booked a room for my family over a week in advance, a CONFIRMED reservation for two queen beds. Upon arrival, before 6p.m. the manager offered us a room with one bed and a sofa bed, NOT what we had reserved and NOT acceptable for our multi-night stay for four tall adults.
Saying that they were full I demanded other suitable accommodations, and after one promise of a three star hotel, the jerk sent us to a lousy two star, noisy and unclean. Though I had called and checked on the other room as best I could, and the lobby was quite nice, the room was hot, and we had to wait over an hour for toilet paper and towels, until after 10pm. Only when I got loud in the lobby, in boith cases was any action taken.

We reserved a room not facing the water, not realizing it was facing a very busy and noisy freeway. When we went down to ask about switching to the quiet side, they had a room, but charged us another $25 for the move (when we made the initial reservation online it was only a $10 difference). The room was a bit run down, the breakfast was not special (despite the waffles), and we had to wait a long time for the van shuttle service to pick us up from the airport. They did take us to the BART station several times and that was helpful. It is in an industrial part of town. There is a good restaurant within walking distance called Quinn's Lighthouse.

Mediocre
Don't be fooled by Executive Inn website photos that show only the nicest rooms & a modern fitness facility that is in the new "first class" building.
My wife & I were assigned a room facing the busy I-880 freeway in the old "steerage"...

Horrible
This hotel was so awful I checked out within 5 minutes of checking in. The room was tiny, the decor was ghastly, the place smelled....in short, there is no excuse for such an awful experience. Thank God The Claremont could accomadate me at the last...

Arrived on a Friday evening reservation people seemed confused. We had reserved 2 rooms and since the other party had already checked in they were not sure were our reservation was It was finally straightend out and we were able to get into our room. Saturday AM we had made a reservation with them to take us to the Bart again confusion about who was going to take us upon return from San Fran to the Bart we did as instructed by the front desk to call when we returned which we did and went outside to wait They had taken our cell # and called to ask where we were I said the shuttle had just gone by and not stopped for us he said he would call the driver back upon entering the van the driver started yelling at us asking where we had been? When told him we had not been told where to wait he continued in a very nasty undertone all the way to the hotel Sunday morning with the buffet being very busy the coffee was empty and we had to wait quite a while for it to be filled We left Sunday am and found out later when we did they had cancelled our friends room who were staying another night.....and that is what we had made the reservation for...Nice room STAFF needs a lot of improvement

The shuttle service was great! It was frustrating sometimes with the lack of English speakers who worked at the hotel. It was clean and the continental breakfast was good. There were 9 of my family members staying there and it was a great location...
