First of all - you know you're in trouble when you CAN'T find a review of this hotel on-line anywhere. They advertise several things that WERE NOT TRUE. Also - anyplace that requires pre-payment at the time of check-in- and in small print (without pointing it out) a statement that says - "After 5 minutes after check-in - no refund for any reason....".
1. LOUD - right on the interstate (and in Texas, that means right on a one-way frontage road which means you have to do a U-turn, drive down the way and come back if you make a trip to the Walmart down the street).
2. Wireless internet - yeah right! It was only accessible occaisionally, was slow.
3. Coffee pots in the rooms - WELL, there was a coffee maker- no pot, no coffee (this was true in 3 of the rooms we rented).
4. The first 2 rooms we tried to check into- the key wouldn 't work and they wouldn't fix it so we could get in. The next room didn't have the refrigerator in it - of course, if we had known that the refrigerator in the room DIDN'T WORK ANYWAY!!! (This was also true for 3 of the rooms we rented).
5. Iron and Ironing board - WELL - there was an ironing board- no iron.
6. No TV controller in one room - no alarm clock in another, light didn't work over the sink in one room - one room stunk so bad, we had to go get some airfresheners to be able to stand it.
7. HUMONGOUS "waterbug" in one room (it was at least 3 inches long!!-) I guess everything is bigger in Texas.
8. Maid kept coming in the room without knocking - and cleaning room at 8:30am!!
9. Towels were hand me down pool towels from somewhere - you needed at least 2-3 to even dry yourself!!
10. Didn't have the guts to try the pastry in the lobby which was dirty, smelly, etc...
11. There was a dead fly on the bathroom floor and I left it there to see if the maid would sweep the bathroom floor - it was still there when we checked out. Could not stand the thought of my bare feet on the carpet- so I wore my shoes which almost stuck to the rug. Blood or something stains on the mattress and comforter....

There are many, many, many hotels in the area - SKIP THIS ONE!!!
