We stopped at a rest area and got free hotel coupons. This was the cheapest one in the book. 29.99+tax. Sign said renovated rooms and jacuzzi suites. Renovated? What 20 years ago? And we asked for a jacuzzi room (since the coupon said add $10 for a suite), Clerk said they don't have suites or jacuzzi rooms at all??? If it wasn't late we'd definitely have left. Looks like people live in most of the place. In the lobby everything is out of order. Coffee machines, ATM's. Our room was located by "the pool" the front desk clerk tells us, which was no more then a mound of dirt. The sink backed up, there were cobwebs everywhere, beer stuff shoved under the tv, baggies under the microwave. Did have a full size fridge/ freezer which was surpisingly clean. Sheets were very clean, looked vaccumed. Located behind a gas station and right off the road, a little noisy, but the fan in the room drowned most of that out. So if you're young and on a super tight budget, maybe but I'd kick in the extra $5 and stay down the road.
