Excellent
The Executive Inn Vintage Court in San Francisco turned out to be pretty nice, for a budget-priced hotel. The location was great, a few blocks from Union Square and from the entrance to Chinatown, and the amenities, though limited, were great. ...

Many other reviews have disparaged this hotel unfairly. I stay in Ritz Carltons; I stay in Hampton Inns. This place is pretty darn good. The rooms are decently sized for a major American city, the hotel is extremely well located, and the service was there when it was needed. The sheets are crisp (the towels are a bit thin), and the rooms are very clean. Many have complained of a bad smell in the hotel. That smell, folks, is the smell of an old building - there's nothing wrong with it, and it is so subtle you soon won't notice it. Others complain about the (free) continental breakfast. What's to complain about? The coffee is excellent and the juice fresh-squeezed. Better yet if you don't like the crowded lobby - the best breakfast in town is two blocks downhill (east) on Bush at Cafe de la Presse. It's a French joint - and the real thing at that. Try the Mocha and don't miss the French Toast.

Good
Excellent location right by cable. Roxanne's across the street is great Italian food and good breakfast too. Restaurant in hotel insanely expensive, but so much around it that is great, so it doesn't matter. Great helpful staff! Hot water in...

This hotel has the best location ever. It is right in the downtown area. You just have to walk a couple of blocks to be in Liberty Square, where all the shopping is. With all the public transportation around this area, you can easily move to every...

The location is great, and the price was reasonable. The staff, though, was pretty indifferent, and the room fixtures were pretty worn. It was clean, though, and we weren't in the room that much. The location is the best feature.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Executive Hotel Vintage Court.
I might recommend it to friends.

You can't beat the location. We had a room with double beds so it was spacious enough. Complaints are our room smelled a bit funky, we aired it out by opening the windows, and all but ONE of the front desk reps could have been more helpful. X was...

Horrible
The customers service is really bad. The rooms have a terrible smell. The parking lot is too far. They need to learn more about customer service and treat better all customers.
