The location is convenient for anyone wanting to stay on the Strip. The hotel staff was all friendly and efficient. I would recommend the hotel to anyone.

I am very likely to return to the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel is easy to get to. My advice is to tell the cab driver to take the short route and not get on the expressway. The rooms were clean and well air conditioned. The restaurants were easy to get into. There were no long lines and the food was above average.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
I might recommend it to friends.

The hotel has a good location but it is not too fancy for a hotel. I would have preferred to stay in a classier place.

They were doing construction above us, so we got an early morning wake up call from the sawing and hammering. Also, we requested a king size bed but they did not have any available. However, they rectified this by upgrading us to a newer, higher quality room. The housekeeping was great. They even called us to make sure we did not want service since we left the do not disturb sign out. The new rooms were very comfortable. They had pillow top mattresses and a big TV.

I am somewhat likely to return to the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.

The toilet did not flush so they put us in a second room. The second room was clean, the TV cable did not work, the lamp did not work and they were doing pool renovations directly outside our bedroom window at half past six o'clock in the morning. They said they could not do anything for us because we booked through a third party. The staff acted as if they could care less when we needed something, and they sent us on a wild goose chase when we asked a question. They were not helpful at all.

It was cheap, I paid a good price. They have a low limit at blackjack. I disliked the poor mattress and the poor lighting.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast bar was delicious with a wide assortment of food. The casino was great.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: The fun and the excitement of Las Vegas was there but at the same time the atmosphere of the hotel was relaxing.

The room was very substandard and the light bulbs were burned out in two of the three lights in the room. Also, the clock radio and alarm clock did not work and after two calls to the front desk it was still not working when I left two days after my arrival!

The room was clean and comfortable and, most importantly, quiet. The staff was friendly when encountered. The room service is terribly slow, one meal took three hours to deliver, but it was well prepared.

I have stayed there several times, I love the location as it is close to most things I do. The over the road walkways are great, the parking is very nice. We usually visit Las Vegas three or four times a year.

This hotel made me feel welcome: I have been going there for ten years and my kids always loved it there. They were very friendly and helpful.

Check in took over an hour..then they gave us an occupied room. Lucky for them we're honest people. In our "upgraded room" the big TV didn't always work and the internet didn't either. After 4 calls over 4 days, the internet was never resolved. The staff was indifferent to our needs. We waited so long for our dinner at Sherwood Cafe. The buffet was decent. Couldn't find a cocktail waitress and I couldn't even "buy" a drink at the bar...the bartender never acknowledged me after sitting there 5 or more minutes. Valet was full a couple of times and took forever to retrieve our car if we were lucky enough to have it in valet. If you like bed bugs...this is the place for you. My husband brought home his souvenirs on his arm. The timeshare people bombarded us each time we walked down the hallway. Don't waste your money!

I am not likely to return to the Excalibur Hotel and Casino.
I would not recommend it to friends.

35 year old male with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

I spent 4 days at Excalibur from May 11 thru 14th.

Front desk checked us into wrong room, double bed not king as requested. Easy enough to fix, a front desk call and 30 mins later in a king room.

However, toilet is running, every 30 mins damn thing flushes on it's own and is loud. Call to complain Plumber will be up soon (never comes).

Casino is filled with little kids; now I was prepared for this a little as it's a medieval themed casino with an arcade, but get your strollers out of the casino.

Next dealers were poorly trained several times I was paid on a loss or dealer tried to take my bet on a win. I had to complain to the pit boss constantly. I mean I am not expecting the best dealers in the world at a 10 dollar table, but come on.

Next Sports book.. I laid down 200 on the pistons and wings being from Detroit (which is dumb but hey) and go and sit down in a chair in the book. Waitress comes around i try and order a drink, she asks me for a drink slip. A what? Yes apparently the unhappy folks behind the sports book counter give you drink slips as you bet, 5 bux equals a bet slip and one free drink.. I go and ask for some, they won't give me any without betting, I said lady I just spent 200 bux on bets, but oh no you gotta ask when you bet. No to be fair I guess some other more gracious folks behind the sports book counter gave them out to all betters without asking, but the nasty chick I got was not so generous. So I had to lay out another 30 bux in bets on horses just to get a few drinks while enjoying the sports games... (stupid idea)

To sum it up. I have stayed at the Hilton, Orleans, Hooters, Gold Coast, MGM and now Excalibur.. Scratch that one of your list. Remember you get what you pay for, and what seems like a good room rate comes with a hefty price tag.

I just returned from 8 days in Vegas and stayed at several hotels taking advantage of some special offers. I have stayed sevral times at Excalibur and you can't beat the location and the value. You do need to check the Excalibur website to get the best prices. They also offer special rates to their players club members and if you register in their guest book on their webpages.

We got a great room facing the strip, $30 in match play, 2 free admissions to the spa, and $25 in food credit for $61. It was a great value. The spa was really great. They hvae free fruit and juice and bottled water there. The jacuzzi was great and the steam room was wonderful. they also have hair products and toiletries to use in the spa. They give you a robe and slippers to wear. The swimming pool area is under constuction. They are adding more pools. One main pool is open.

I found the casino to have lots of great slot machines and the servers brought drinks often. The breakfast in the 24 hour cafe in the casino is huge. We always have the breakfast skillet and it is enough for 3 people.

Parking is convienient, it is close to the airport, check in and out is easy- you can check out on the tv in your room. they will hold your luggage until your flight out. We got to check in at noon. We always take a heating coil to make coffee in the room as they don't have coffee makers. They have ironing boards and hairdryers in the rooms.

Everyone is always courteous. I stay there every year and would recommend it. It is not a 5 star hotel but you aren't paying those prices either. But most people aren't there to spend much time in their room. It is very safe, lots of security. I also stayed at Luxor and Ballys this trip and liked Excalibur the best.
