There were long check-in lines and only a few of the check-in desks were manned. When we booked a bus trip through Excalibur to Laughlin, we were not told that, after we were picked up from the hotel, we would be sitting in a bus yard for over an hour waiting.

This hotel made me feel entertained: Since it was a race weekend, there was lots to see and do at the hotel and elsewhere.

This hotel made me feel secure: We had taken my brother's kids with us. So with the plentiful number of guards around we felt there would be no problem.

Too crowded, too many kids, and the style of the hotel room was very outdated (even though it was supposed to look like it was from the ancient periods, it was obvious the room had not been renovated).

My experience was more positive than expected. In previous trips to Las Vegas (where stayed in different casinos) I sensed that Excalibur was overrun with children. But when a friend wanted to stay at Excalibur, I agreed, and found it to be just as I expected.

This hotel made me feel relaxed: These were the two elements that make a hotel great -- the friendly desk staff that is calm and professional. The Excalibur staff calmed me down after a long drive, and my room was nearby so could easily go for a quick nap when wanted.

This hotel made me feel entertained: Arcade for kids "Tournament of Kings" was a nice touch. I really like the atmosphere created by the pool.

I was suppose to receive a room upgrade, and see part of the strip. But, the room I got did not offer much of view.

I stayed at Excalibur because it was the least expensive room could get in Las Vegas for the one night.

We had a most enjoyable experience staying at the Excalibur. I enjoyed shopping and bought some very nice outfits, shoes and accessories. We dined in two of their first rated restaurants - both were a memorable experience.
