Evermay on the Delaware Inn - Page 1

My husband and I have both eaten and stayed at Evermay when it was owned by the previous innkeepers. We decided to try it for dinner and asked another couple who we frequently dine with, to join us. We were not only disappointed, but also left hungry and felt ripped off by the small portions and expensive liquor. Furthermore, although we knew there was a limited menu, under the previous owners there was always a choice of two entrees. The bill ended up being over $200 per couple, with only four glasses of wine and one extra champagne. Each diner is given one flute of champagne included in the $75 price. Hopefully, the present owners will realize that they cannot keep charging these prices without losing followers.
