59 year old female with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure

Checked in. Closed door still had gaps in it that would allow insects and hot air to enter. Turned on A/C and left for food. Returned and air had not cooled room. Maintenance person could not fix. Phoned front desk and reported that we would have to leave. Went to front desk and they refused to provide refund. Left anyway.
