Emerald Coast Inn and Suites Inn - Page 1

This hotel was almost perfect. The location, the service, it was clean, I couldn't have asked for more. We could even see the ocean from our room, which was not advertised (I guess because it is not on the beach) but it was a very pleasant suprise! The hallways are concrete, so if there are any guests that want to be loud late, you might hear it, but we kept the fan on and it never bothered us. It is on a busy street, but that is because it is so central to everything. We were within a two minute drive to the beach, and within 30 minutes (usually less) of everything we wanted to do in Ft. Walton Beach and Destin. We are a family with two small children and will be back next summer.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness & value at The Emerald Coast Inn. My husband & I spent 5 nights there with our 2 year old. We were very comfortable & rested well there. The coffee was always fresh in the mornings and there's a waffle iron if you want to make some fresh waffles. I thought the waffles could be better. There was some sort of squeeze bottle butter that was yucky so avoid that. Also avoid trying to make waffles after 10 am. The manager lady will quickly swoop in to stop you. The hotel offers easy access to everything. When we plan our next trip will will definitely consider staying here again. They have coin operated laundry for guests, iron and ironing board in room, micro & fridge. They also have a jucuzzi but i must note that it was out of order during our visit. However we spent most of our time on the beautiful beaches. They seemed to be remodeling and updating during our visit they recieved new furniture for the lobby. The place is small and feels very beachy.

We stayed here because of price, and it was located right next to the Convention Center (There for a dance competition). I must stay I was scared that it would be a dump! I was still nervous when we pulled up to the hotel, because it's not really big and the reception/breakfast area is very small. After checking in we went up to check our room out. The rooms are set to an opened outside hallway, which was dark until I asked about the lights being turned on. In which case they were lit up within five minutes. It made a big difference. As I unlocked the door to our room, to my surprise it was VERY CLEAN! The view wasn't the best "rooftops", but that wasn't a big deal to me. Cleanliness is what matters! My family and I stayed there for 6 nights. The only downfalls were that the housekeeping people would never leave enough wash/face clothes in our room 4 towels, but always 3 face clothes.......There is only one elevator(very slow) managed to get some fitness in by using the stairs a lot, and there is a small breakfast area as I mentioned earlier, where you can get waffles if you have the time to wait in line; Unless you're an early riser, then you can make your own without a problem (one waffle maker); The noise from traffic in the hallway can tend to be loud if the air conditioner has cycled off; Also, there's a switch on the wall outside the bathroom, which you'd think had no purpose; It does; It controls the top portion of the outlet on the wall which is next to the television. All in all, it was a great place to stay. I would definitely stay here again.

All my girlfriends and I decided to take a road trip to Florida last summer and we stayed at the Emerald Coast Inn. It was great for our budget and the rooms were really nice. The best part about it was how close it was to everything. We were also worried about the safety since we're all girls and we only had pepper spray, but it was actually very safe and had security cameras just about everywhere! I would really recommend this hotel for someone looking for a great room in a very good location for a nice price,

When I booked online for such a low price, I was a bit curious on how it was going to be. However, once my husband and I arrived, we were treated as if we had just paid $200 a night and our room exceeded all our expectations! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the continental breakfast was good. I made my husband buy me one of the waffle makers later on! It also appeared as if they had recently renovated the rooms and with very good taste, if I might add. My husband and I enjoy traveling and have paid quite a bit in hotels, but I wish we could always receive such a great deal as we did here at the Emerald Coast Inn & Suites! I highly recommend this hotel for just about everyone. You have my word on that. -Margaret Fischer
