My stay was in early August and the hotel's air conditioning could not keep up with the heat. It was just smoldering hot everywhere, rooms, hallways, bar, dining rooms, everywhere.

This hotel made me feel welcome: The check in staff was very helpful. The room service staff was always friendly.

The facility was acceptable and I would stay there again.

It’s a very well maintained and nice hotel. The staff was helpful and courteous, the restaurant nice, and in a good location. It was a nice size suite. All in all it was a very positive experience.

I was very impressed with the experience. I was given a shuttle ride to and from the event I was attending at no cost. The free bar from five to seven p.m. is the reason I will definitely return the next time I need to stay in Winston-Salem.

It has a downtown location. The front desk clerk was great; nothing was too much trouble for him. He found me a non-smoking room, which he acknowledged I had requested weeks ago, when it appeared there were no rooms of any kind to be had. All the front desk employees, with the exception of one, had an excellent knowledge of the area and gave great directions.

This hotel made me feel welcome: From the front desk to the wait staff in the restaurant they treated me as if I were an old friend or family member.

The rooms were great, the staff was friendly and efficient, the breakfast was delicious.

This hotel made me feel extravagent: The complimentary breakfast with hot foods including custom omelettes was outstanding. The complimentary happy hour with the manager included appetizers. The rooms were more than expected.
