The hotel had a great location and the second room I stayed in was great! I did not like the smoke alarm in the room going off at half past two o'clock in the morning and continually being asked by the hotel security if we were smoking in the room after we responded that none of the three of us had smoked. However, I would stay at this hotel again.
Housekeeping made sure we had plenty of pillows and blankets. They insisted that we would not make an extra bed. We were moved to a larger room the next day at no extra charge.

My stay was in early August and the hotel's air conditioning could not keep up with the heat. It was just smoldering hot everywhere, rooms, hallways, bar, dining rooms, everywhere.
The check in staff was very helpful. The room service staff was always friendly.

It’s a very well maintained and nice hotel. The staff was helpful and courteous, the restaurant nice, and in a good location. It was a nice size suite. All in all it was a very positive experience.

I was very impressed with the experience. I was given a shuttle ride to and from the event I was attending at no cost. The free bar from five to seven p.m. is the reason I will definitely return the next time I need to stay in Winston-Salem.
The beds were by far the best I have ever seen in a hotel.
