Unique, historic property formerly the Multnomah Inn from ~1908. The concierge was great. It's in a great neighborhood and we loved our stay there. Not your typical Embassy Suites cookie cutter hotel
everything was first rate. great service, great staff would go back next time i am in town for a funeral. The food was okay but the service was really what set this place apart.

From the moment we stepped in, we noticed attention to every detail. From the huge, nicely decorated rooms, to the fantastic and huge (free) breakfast, the (also free) happy hour, and the beautiful pool and friendly staff. The concierge was terrific ...

We'd booked for twin accommodations, got in tired, and found only one. We were told we'd have to wait a few hours for another room, so one slept on the pullout couch, the other in the bed. They promised to send someone to make up the sofa bed, but didn't. When we asked the turndown service, he didn't know, but took care of things. I gave my Hilton Honors number at the desk, but never got credit for the stay, and never received an answer when I e-mailed the hotel about it later. My final bill wasn't sent to me, but to my roommate at the cruise company address.
They had a nice welcome get-together and refreshments when we got back from our bus tour.
I am somewhat likely
to return to the Embassy Suites Portland - Downtown.
I might recommend it to friends.

Its a great downtown location. It is a beautiful, historic, hotel with a great restaurant and bar. I would definitely stay in the presidential suite.
They have a very professional staff. The valet remembered us and was easily able to retrieve our vehicle. They were more than happy to carry our shopping bags to the room.
I am very likely
to return to the Embassy Suites Portland - Downtown.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

We were absolutely delighted with this hotel and with Portland. I especially liked the mass transit system that will get you wherever you need to go, including the airport. The hotel itself is beautiful and every staff member we spoke with was very helpful.
We were in Portland for the US Western Region Irish Dance Oireachtas at the convention center, along with thousands of other people. The staff at Embassy Suites went out of their way to meet our needs and to anticipate them.
