Noise from the highway behind the property is loud and clear in the rooms to the back of the hotel. Noise from the atrium (indoors where the breakfast and happy hour is served) is also terrible, as the tiled floor acts as an echo chamber. Some rooms on the front of the building with a courtyard entrance may be OK, but get a 3rd floor room. Our 2nd floor, atrium entrance with bedroom facing the highway was a nightmare! Breakfast setup at 4:30am each day, highway noise all night, and then a guest in the room above us getting ready for an early flight decided to get up at 3am and tromp around! Not to mention the romantic antics of the folks next door that woke us from our slumber.
NO free in-room or general area wireless internet; $10 per 24 hour period or use the two computers in the lobby.
Free parking, breakfast - both good. Security on site? None. The courtyard with the swans is pretty, but frankly I'd trade them for a quiet rest, safe parking and free lobby wireless!
Also, booking through a deal site and not directly through the hotel was an issue for this property. The front end staff discovered the booking route and immediately their pleasant greeting turned to clipped answers with minimal civility.
Also in our 3 day stay we came back to a dirty room and when we made a call to the front desk they told us housekeeping was still working on it. They were checking in guests (it was 4pm) and housekeeping was still working on it? I went to the main desk and waited for 20 minutes to talk to them in person. A couple who had just checked in came back to complain that their room wasn't yet cleaned.
The front desk of this hotel is poorly run and they seem unwilling to help their guest to 'enjoy' their stay. Minimal effort to assist guests with check-in or with problems, made this stay very frustrating.
On the flip-side, the people who put breakfast and Happy Hour together, did a good job.
This property is located conveniently to the Napa Premium Outlets, but that's about all I can say for it. In the future, I will book a room elsewhere and encourage others to do the same.

Exorbitant Rates for What You Get

Okay
The rates that are being charged for this hotel are exorbitant for what you get. When you stay here, you are mostly paying for the location instead of the actual hotel. It is convenient to the Napa wineries and most are a very short drive away. The...
Beautiful grounds. Nice rooms, your typical Embassy. The restaurant was OK. The bar had a fun atmosphere and was very lively. No outdoor pool only indoors which was a bummer.
