54 year old with a economy budget, traveling for business
I stay at this hotel on a regular basis but always have 1 or 2 problems. This time, the TV in the bedroom was very fuzzy. I left a message at the front desk when I left in the morning, asking for someone to come look at it but they never did. I called when I got back and they sent a repairman who looked and told me he would check the room above and below me and then come back and tell me what he found. He never came back and the TV was never fixed. The maids also turn the temperature down to 60 during the day so it's freezing when you come back.
I will still stay here as it's the best in the area and you can't beat the breakfast and Happy Hour. Mattresses are also great and comfortable. They do need to add more cable channels. 3 channels of sports are obviously geared only toward male guests.

This hotel is in no way on a level with any other Embassy Suites I've experienced. The negative points were numerous and yet the staff was very understanding.

Customer service and breakfast were great. Ran out of snacks early at manager's reception, but I enjoyed the rest.
The mattresses felt 20 years old. I called to see if there were any better ones, but there weren't. They are undergoing renovations and the lobby is great. I'm sure it will be back to its original glory after the renovations, but the rooms look really old now.
I am not likely
to return to the Embassy Suites El Paso.
I would not recommend it to friends.

All the employees were excellent and knowledgeable. The rooms were very clean and well supplied. The breakfasts and the happy hour were more than expected. All in all it was a wonderful experience! It was a great place to stay with very efficient shuttles to the airport.
I was greeted by name by most employees.
I am very likely
to return to the Embassy Suites El Paso.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

I had my electric toothbrush stolen off the sink. I did not notice it gone until I left the hotel. When I called to ask for assistance they told me that lost and found is in housekeeping and that they would forward me to them. The front desk forwarded me to a dead voice mail box that says "this guest has not checked in yet, please wait for an attendant" and they never come back on the line. I called them back and they said they would leave a message for housekeeping. I went through this twice and then gave up.

Something I really like about ES is the breakfast in the morning. I don't have to go find a restaurant. How crowded it is for the morning breakfast and the long wait. The service was very good at this hotel. The room was up to date (only a few minor...

Mediocre
Embassy Suites are usually pretty good hotels, but this one is the exception. All of the facilities are pretty dated and worn. The rooms haven't been updated since the early 1980s and smell every bit of it. Not a good value for the money.

Good
The cooked to order breakfast and manager's reception are excellent. Unfortunately 2 of the 4 elevators were out of service which made for long waits. There were no towels in our room on arrival and it took quite a while to get some delivered. We...
