The biggest problem was the non refunded deposit money. My mother was unaware they charged 92.96 for a deposit. Two days later she still didn't have it returned.
The food was not good. The free breakfast includes omlettes made to order. Made with watered down eggs. They are selective of who they stop and ask for free coupon tickets. The person asking didn't speak English well he just said over and over Ticket Ticket.
Attended a banquet and the food was very disappointing. Hockey puck rolls served after your finished with soup. Stale croutons in salad. You only get 5, they should have left them off.
The pillows in the rooms are lumpy and overstuffed.
Be ware of the TV and radio stations you will be charged. The movie rental is a shocking $14.99 for one time. You can own the DVD for that. You cannot watch it in the other room or you will be charged again. You cannot watch it again later or you will be charged. This is excessive and silly.
The tub was dingy and the non slip strips were peeling up and old.
The sofa bed has thin mattress with the bar going across. I'd say difficult for an adult to sleep on comfortably.
My experience at the Embassy Suites was very great! The staff and the rooms are great! I love the pool and their little fitness area. The location is great!
The gift shop is also quite cute and has EVERYTHING you could possibly need!
After a hard day of playing, the kids and wife fell asleep in the big bed and left me to sleep on the sofa bed. It wasn't that bad, I had a good night sleep but was mad because I could not sleep in the big bed with the soft pillows and the nice cloc

This was a very pleasant stay, with a comfortable and spacious room, prompt service and helpful and friendly personnel. Although the hotel seemed full, it did not seem overcrowded.
There was plenty of room to spread out, yet enough privacy to enjoy the comfort of the room. Although there were a lot of teens and younger children staying at the hotel, the noise level was at a minimum.
I am very likely
to return to the Embassy Suites Chicago - Schaumburg/Woodfield.
I might recommend it to friends.
Embassy Suites is severly lacking in customer service. They have a great atrium and nice guest rooms, but the restuarant staff is terrible. I suggest they hire new employees that know how to treat people.

My room was not ready until five o'clock in the afternoon and it was supposed to be ready for check in at three o'clock in the afternoon. I had already been there for meetings in the morning so I was upset.
