Our room had a leaky pipe that dripped into the tub. The sliding glass door was broken and made the room noisy. Needs new tv & ironing board and the fire alarm went off when we took a shower. Horrible experience.

Our stay at Embassy Suites was the bright spot in a trip where everything went wrong--delayed flights, flights with no working restrooms, flight ticket errors, rental car that konked out. The entire staff seemed dedicated to our needs and desires...

The front desk and the restaurant experience at this location was the best part of my trip. Check in was fast and the clerk made sure I received the proper frequent traveler credits. The bar and restaurant were great for all the three meals and also well staffed with friendly people.
The bar staff was completely entertaining without being over bearing or crude.
I am very likely
to return to the Embassy Suites Baton Rouge.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.
We enjoyed our 2 night weekend stay.

The lobby and atrium are beautiful. That's where it ends with this hotel. The 1st room we checked into had a leaking pipe above the shower that dripped dirty water into the tub leaving a yellow stain running to the drain. We requested a 2nd room. This room's sliding glass door was broken, leaving an inch wide gap letting the weather and noise in from outside. That room was rtight above the ac units so it was exceptionally noisy. The ironing boards are dirty, stained, and the one in the 2nd bedroom was broken and I could not even use it. Had to request another one from room service. The TV made a high-pitched buzzing noise and we could not even stand to watch it for more than 30 minutes. When we took a shower it set off the fire alarm in our room - TWICE. We called the front desk and they said the alarm would go off when the steam cleared. We checked out right after that. We had booked our stay a month in advance through embassysuites.com and paid for 2 nights. We checked out after the first night and wanted our money back for the 2nd night since we were not staying there. After arguing with staff for almost an hour and a half we left with no refund and a "promise" we would get a check in the mail in a week, but they couldn't tell us how much for. Also, the hot tub in the pool area was not in service and the elevators take FOREVER. It was a horrible experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
