My flight connection through Atlanta did not work so I needed to stay overnight. In Baggage Claim I used the hotels phone bank to see if Embassy Suites had a room; they did. But I was required to make a reservation before boarding their shuttle bus. That meant reading my Credit Card numbers to them from this crowded phone bank location. Heaven knows if anyone around me was jotting down my numbers! They refused to let me do this at the hotel desk. Later I found out why: It took almost 45 minutes for the shuttle bus to show up -- after I called back twice! But now they had me locked in! I complained at the desk about their process needing improvements, but I got the deer-in-the-headlights look.
And then the room I got still had items left in it from the previous guest...
Never again at this hotel!
