Enjoyed a full breakfast in the hotel; enjoyed a drink in between visiting sites at the evening manager's reception, and valet parking was "aweet". The suite allowed us to stay with son, daughter-in-law, and 1-3/4 yr grandson; yet both families still separate. As a family, we have never been disappointed with Embassy Suites!

Everything was great until we got to the room. Couldn't believe the dust and dirt. Bathroom was gross. We spent first 3 hrs of trip trying to find another hotel. Had a very hard time sleeping there. Smelled musty and dirty. Thought we could trust the Hilton name. Wouldn't stay again. Staff was good room quality TERRIBLE.

We stayed here for two nights last weekend and will definitely be back. The staff was so friendly and helpful! It was a perfect weekend, thanks to the people at the hotel. Accomodations were great as well, a quick walk to Michigan Ave., close to ...

Good
I stayed here with my mother and aunt, both seniors, in June. The hotel was full of families, and was abuzz with activity. Not at all a place for a restful getaway, but as an attractive, convenient, and well-maintained base for a Chicago vacation,...

My first visit to Chicago and Embassy Suites was the topping on the cake. It was great. Everyone was so helpful. Planning to go next year and will stay on State Street at the Embassy Suites.

Went to Chicago for a baseball game and really enjoyed just about everything this hotel had to offer. The location was very nice. We didn't drive, so we didn't pay the "outrageous" parking costs about which others complained. The hotel was only one block from the subway station, which was very convenient. It was easy to get just about everywhere and only a few blocks from the Magnificent Mile.
Our room was not ready on arrival, about an hour before checkin time, so the bellmen took care of delivering our bags to our room when it was ready. The room was nice and clean--one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've seen. The sofa bed was comfortable. The hotel room was very spacious. The pool was a bit small and crowded with kids (and adults) doing cannonballs and leaping and such.
The complementary drinks were nice, but the line formed quickly. The breakfast the next morning was very nice. Cooked to order and the omelets were delicious. A great stay.

Okay
I was shocked to realize that there was no free WiFi in the hotel. Instead you have to pay $11.95 a day to use it. We paid using our credit card and the hotel did not properly secure the card numbers . On our fourth day there was fraud on the...
