it is terrible..the staff is rude.. the rooms are gross,,the whole town is nasty .. i would go to graceland during the day and leave..no run.. everything locks down at sundown .. no kidding even the gift shops.. run run run
what a fantastic hotel to stay in for anyone who loves elvis! you just can't escape him! only 2 minutes from graceland and the gift shop lady was so friendly! a 20 out of 10 if possible!!

The security gaurd upon entering the hotel was very off putting, the front desk girl was breaking up with her boyfriend while we waited to check in on the phone, the elevator made horrible noises whenever it moved, there were stains on the 3rd floor hall, the beds were completely flat, a foot or so off the ground and the sheets/pillowcases were yellowing. There was not bed skirt and all of the stains on the box springs were showing. That was disgusting. The list could go on and on. This was one horrible experience. We slept with the tv on because we were scared the total darkness would bring the bugs out. I would never recommend this hotel to another person in my life.

ok yeah if you like elvis you can say I stayed at heart break hotel....but that is it! There really isn't that much going for this place. There is not alot of elvis pics or collectables. It smells, the bed & linens are poor quality, the so called deluxe con. breakfast is not worth the time, and our air conditioner didn't even work! Graceland was great but DO NOT stay at heart break hotel or you will be heart broken!

It is a great romantic getaway!
The desk clerks remembered our names. The meal service was gracious. The size of the suite, the upgraded appliances and the TV's were much better than we had expected.
I am very likely
to return to the Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel.
I would definitely recommend it to friends.

The hotel appears to be poorly managed.
I stayed in the Graceland suite, very expensive, not near worth the money it cost to stay. Needs to be cleaned up, needs a lot of maintenance.
Stayed in the burning love suite, needs to be cleaned up, overpriced.
Tried an ordinary room, liveable, overpriced. The rates are high and it appears management assumes it is ok to operate in this manner, because of the name Elvis on the sign.
I wouldnt recommend this hotel to anyone. I now stay at the Peabody which is a very much nicer place to stay and rates are better.

It was a clean room with the exception of some mold on the outer splash shield of the shower. It was very quiet and there was no sound from activity in other rooms such as water flushing and showers or TVs. AC was fairly quiet and temperature was comfortable. Breakfast was very good with biscuits and sausage gravy and other choices including a mountain of bananas.

I loved the suite I was in and the free shuttle bus into Memphis. The bar meals were more than I could eat! The water in the shower wasn't as hot as I would have liked, but it was still OK.
