Elmwood House is uniquely situated in a residential neighborhood on a bus line and near biking and walking trails. Built in 1887, Elmwood House, a tribute to the early days of Minneapolis, proudly displays its circular towers with conical roofs on the North facade. Elmwood has been completely restored to its original appearance. The interior boasts leaded windows and restored oak woodwork, a parlor with baby grand piano, a dining room in the east turret, and a living room with an Inglenook fireplace, French doors and classic antique furnishings. The guest's kitchenette is another feature which contributes to the homey environment of Elmwood House.
