A Big Disappointment

They ought to be ashamed.....

This place was a big disappointment. We were appalled by the room conditions. How could the owners possibly think that they are doing people a service by charging "low rates" for the product that they offer? Is it because of it's location which is close to the beach and boardwalk? However, IT IS on THE OUTSKIRTS OF TOWN. This place was more comparable with a tenament than a resort hotel. Have they no shame? I have to question the character of the owners who spoke with heavy foriegn accents. Don't they have any pride in themselves or the product that they offer? Is this how they do things in the country they came from? It seems that they motivated by greed? This is one of the worst places I ever stayed at. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. TRUST ME!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!

It is obvious that the owners of this place have no pride in their place or any consideration for their guests. There isn't anything good to say about it. It was awful. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I would never recommend this place to anyone. On the contrary. ANY POSITIVE REVIEWS MUST HAVE BEEN WRITTEN BY THE OWNERS THEMSELVES. I can't imagine anyone saying this place acceptable BUT the owners. Be afraid, be very afraid!!!!!!!!

If you're fussy and take pride in your surroundings, don't stay here. The place was terrible. The upkeep of the place was awful. It certainly was in ill repair. When we first walked into the room I noticed that the stove was greasey and had hardened food particles on it. This was the beginning of a series of disappointments. For example, the toilet did not flush properly, the handle fell off the shower when turned on, the doors were rotted and peeling and painted over, everything was rusty, the frame of the sofa bed was bent and concave, the mattress was flimsy and filthy, we discovered crumbs and peanuts on it when we opened it, the shower curtain was cut in half and mildewed, the bed spreads had yellow stains on them.

The manager was superficially friendly and did not take kindly to complaints, as evidenced by him telling me to "get out" when I commented about the conditions of the room. He was rude, impulsive, accusatory and impatient while defending this catastrophy and turned the tables by attempting to find fault with me and taking the focus off the issues that I was addressing.

I would never recommend this place nor would I ever stay there again. Whatever the rate for this place it's still TOO much. I don't care how cheap it was, it wasn't worth it. Spare yourself and go elsewhere.
