having visited key west numerous times over the years it was a relief and a great find to become associated with the el patio. the free parking gets a high rating along with its secluded, yet central location. we continue to visit getting the same room whenever possible because the owners and staff are so accomodating. (they even hook up your lap-top to the net). whether walking; bus; taxi or ones own transport, el patio is the place to hang your hat and bonnet while you rest up for the next exploration of bone island. the grounds are peaceful and landscaped magnificently. highly recommend. {we love-"being there"---we hate, leaving}...
