El Palacio Sports Hotel Hotel - Page 1

El Palacio is a great location for sports enthusiasts. Located within a mile from Dolphins Stadium, its a perfect stay before or after the big game. The lobby is exquisite, adorned with comfortable leather seating and a great big screen tv. The staff is very friendly and approachable, and will go to great lengths to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one. However, the one downside can be gameday traffic, sitting in upwards of 1 to 2 hours of standstill traffic before being able to go anywhere.

El Palacio's Location... Location...Location... is its' greatest asset. Close and convenient to Miami Beach, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale the hotel is accessible to major highways that bypass traffic jams. Within minutes you can be on your way to any place in South Florida. Magnificent view of beautiful Calder horse racing track. Minutes from major shopping centers and restraurants. Excellent free continental breakfast. Friendly and accommmodating guest service. If you want the freedom to move about South Florida and experience it like, "a native" this is the Place.

The location was ok. But there was noise at night. I disliked the non accommodating manager.

It was a fine hotel in all respects.

Check-in was excruciatingly slow, the room had live roaches, milk curdled in the coffee at breakfast, and I waited at the bar for over an hour for food.
