El Cortez Hotel and Casino Hotel - Page 1

I have been staying at El Cortez for 20 years or more. Most of the employees were very attentive. The restaurants were all good. I had problems on my last visit which the hotel manager would not help me with. I emailed the hotel, but got no reply. I feel bad, but I will never go there again. I believe it is under new management and I do not like the so called improvements.

The location of the room was ludicrous. It was on top of the parking garage, open to the noise of next door building construction and blowing dirt from the construction site and the corridors were outside the areas with a porch overhang. It was not an app

This hotel made me feel important: The bed was very comfortable bed. The room was very clean and roomy.

The hotel was older but clean and it seemed well maintained. The cleaning staff was efficient. It was an easy walk to the Fremont Street experience.

I think the El Cortez hotel was well worth the price. The location is one block east of downtown and in walking distance of all the downtown activities. Checking in was easy and I felt they did a good job making me feel welcome.

This hotel made me feel important: They provided friendly service and they were available to answer questions.

The location was ok, but the rooms were below the quality I would have expected being that it was in Las Vegas. The in hotel restaurant was very low quality and the service was the worst I have ever had in my life.
