73 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
I have been staying at El Cortez for 20 years or more. Most of the employees were very attentive. The restaurants were all good. I had problems on my last visit which the hotel manager would not help me with. I emailed the hotel, but got no reply. I feel bad, but I will never go there again. I believe it is under new management and I do not like the so called improvements.

I had a wonderful stay. I arrived a bit too early to check in, as in the night before so i had to pay extra to stay at "The Ogden House" a little hotel across the street from the cortez. It was very dingy but liveable for me. Reminded me of a rent by the hour motel somewhere but it was suitable for a few hours of sleep. Then I went and checked into the El Cortez. A WORLD apart. I stayed in their vintage rooms right up the stairs from the casino.
I would stay here again and plan to since I got 2 free nights in September for staying 2 nights in August.

47 year old woman with a shoestring budget, traveling for leisure
The hotel was older but clean and it seemed well maintained. The cleaning staff was efficient. It was an easy walk to the Fremont Street experience.
I am
somewhat likely
to return to the El Cortez Hotel and Casino.
I
might recommend it to
friends.

41 year old man with a economy budget, traveling for leisure
The location of the room was ludicrous. It was on top of the parking garage, open to the noise of next door building construction and blowing dirt from the construction site and the corridors were outside the areas with a porch overhang. It was not an app
This hotel made me feel important: The bed was very comfortable bed. The room was very clean and roomy.
I am
very likely
to return to the El Cortez Hotel and Casino.
I
would definitely recommend it to
friends.

28 year old woman with a moderate budget, traveling for leisure
The location was a little sketchy, but it was very close to transportation to the New Strip and a block from the Fremont Street Experience. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The casino was going through some renovations and it had a very old luster and smell. The staff was very nice. Check in and check out went smooth.
This hotel made me feel welcome: We were greeted very warmly by the staff. When calling the hotel operator, she was very pleasant. Any questions we had were answered well and with a smile.

somewhat likely
