Okay
Large resort type motel. Right off the beach, but far from the boardwalk entertainment. Large pool. There are many different room sizes available. They are all different in appearance. You want to check them first.

Dirty, smelly and dark...that's the outside.
Man, what a drag...this hotel should be condemned.
In the elevator was a used dirty diaper.....it was an adult diaper...Yuk!!
The young lady who was in-charge of giving passwords out at the Internet Cafe was nasty to say the least. I think she thought her job was to make guests mad.
One guy was dressed up in a Joker Outfit (Jester), another as a Slug and the third as a Boob...all were going to a Halloween party.
I saw two staff laughing at them...how rude.
The hotel was dirty and seemed to be falling apart.
Never will we go near that hotel (El Coronado in Wildwood NJ) again!!!

My wife and I just returned from our stay at the El Coronado.
First of all the young lady in the Internet Cafe became very angry with me as I did not have my room key at the time which she said was needed to go on the internet to check the Met score. I'm the Met fan.
I slowly went to the front desk for a key (at a sluggish pace) and the young lady yelled at me to move faster.
Our hotel room was dark. The four light bulbs they have in the room must have been 25 watt's each. My wife each went shopping and brought back alot of junk but we really couldn't see it in the dark hotel room.
I forgot where the pool was so I asked a staff member. He was not very helpful.
I forgot how to get to the beach and asked another staff member who too was not helpful.
I forgot what hotel room we were in and asked and they too were not pleased.
I sluggishly went to the snack bar for lunch asked for dry soup and pop corn. The girl at the stand laughed.
I forgot and I don't know why we picked this hotel but it was dirty, not well maintained and everyone moved to fast for me. I can't remember.

My family and I just returned home from a weeks stay at the El Coronado Inn.
The picture on the internet looks absolutely stunning but when you get there you can't believe the difference.
I had to argue with everyone from the front desk to the snack bar employees to the maids...I may have been loud but I got my point across and my credit wasn't ruined.
One day I dressed up in a Jester outfit to go out and the staff were laughing at me behind my back.
I spent two years planning this vacation at work and it was not very good because of the El Coronado dirty Inn and not so nice staff except the old lady in the Internet Cafe...she was nice.

The Hotel front desk staff are not very friendly.
The hotel is dirty, the room was not so clean...the hallways are dark and dirty.
The maid service is poor...they do a poor job cleaning and they never give you wash cloths...we always had to ask each day we were there for the entire week. The linen is not so clean there either.
The wireless internet service is free but is only available a certain time each day. it is a very poor service as we had trouble logging on. If two or more people are using their service, it takes forever to get on and most of the time you can't.
The pool is loaded with hair and who knows what else.
For $200, this hotel is worth abot $70 - $90 at best.
Dirty and not friendly....we will not return there (to the El Coronado) although Wildwood Crest is beautiful and we will stay somewhere else next time.

This place looked really luxurious, in the travel books. When we got there, the hallways were dark and dirty. The rooms weren't that bad, but were way overpriced. The AAA room we stayed in should've been worth $80 a night, not $200. They charge way too much for their poor quality. They need to clean up and brighten their hallways like the Pan American Hotel which I would recommend because the rooms cost about the same as El Coronado but are a lot better in all aspects. If they really, really clean things up and drop their prices, I might consider going there again.
