What I most like about this hotel is that it's close to Union Square. The hotel is awesome and the staff is knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I would recommend them.

Very good value. Friendly staff that wanted me to be comfortable and happy. The rooms were a little small, but clean, well appointed, and perfect for my needs. This is not a luxury hotel but a place for a good nights sleep where I didn't have to pay ...

Mediocre
Room was ridiculously small, and then to complicate matters further, there was far too much furniture in the room. The vent from the wine bar below blew into the room day and night (it smelled like a campfire all the time). The heat did not work...

Okay
Not worth the money. Next time I'll either spend less on a hotel that I'm pretty sure that It will have the same qualities (Or lack off) as this one, or spend a few dollars more on a better hotel. I would not stay here again.
24 year old female with a luxury budget, traveling for leisure
Well, after traveling half the day, from Florida to San Francisco, we finally arrive in our hotel. Absolutely not what I was expecting. Between the 2 of us, we had 5 pieces of luggage. Once we figured out where our room was, because the place is like a very clautrophobic rat maze, we get to our room, which we were told when we booked was supposed to have a private bath. Upon our arrival, we were told they didn't have any of those rooms available, but the person at the front desk assured us that they would contact me manager about moving us. We never heard from the manager, and when we went downstairs a while later, the man pretended we never even had this conversation. The room was so small, we literally could NOT walk inside with our luggage, mind you, they were not large pieces of luggage either. The bathroom has one small window that looks over into another bathroom, imagine looking at someone else doing their business while doing yours! There is no air conditioning, the restaurant next door pumps smoke into your open window, and throughout the night you get to over hear the local bums picking through the dumpsters and we even got to witness a fight, where they were throwing glass bottles at each other at 4am. We had originally booked this place for 2 nights, but after one night in hell, we went 3 blocks down the stree to the Whitcomb, VERY nice, and if booked off of some website, you can get it just as cheap as this place. Oh yeah, there is no common area that we saw, no coffee, no cafe, it's a hole in the wall, with extremely dirty sheets. We told the front desk that when we walked into the room for the first time, the bedsheets we wadded up on the floor in the room. The maid came in a picked up those same sheets and attempted to make the bed with them. Gross!! Definately would NEVER recommend and plan on using this name as a "funny traveling story".

I was travelling with a business associate and knew the hotel was not a business standard. however, I confirmed a deluxe 2 full-sized bed room. when I arrived, I was told there are only 2 rooms in the entire hotel with 2 single narrow beds. We had...
