The Historic Edgewater Hotel offers a unique environment with its history, classic features, and charming rooms, creating a bed and breakfast with 1920's character. The Edgewater opened January 26th 1927 having the designation of being one of the safest and most technologically advanced hotels in the country. It quickly became a Sunday afternoon destination for many families that drove for miles around to admire, stay in or just wander around the hotel's four spacious hallways. The Edgewater originally played host to businessmen looking for a winter hideaway to discuss important business ventures, the Washington senators during spring training preparing for the major league season and famous Hollywood celebrities (such as Clark Gable) visiting friends and enjoying the springtime climates. This classic feature of history has recently been restored bringing the charm back to the building. The antique style and furniture create a timeless environment charming each guest with a feeling of Home.

Built in 1926 the Hotel still houses the original Otis Elevator. The recently restored floor has 15 uniquely sized and decorated rooms with private bathrooms. Also located in the building is a bakery, a flower shop, a fine dining restaurant, a southern style restaurant, and a barber shop. The famous West Orange Trail, great for biking, runs just in front of the hotel. We are also located 20-30 minutes away from popular attractions in Orlando, including Disney World.
