I hate the idea of really panning a place, so I'm being generous giving this place a 2.
We booked this place as we were attending a friends wedding down the road and it sounded quaint. We checked in at 4:00 and were told of a problem. No toilet. Yep, that's a problem. When we went in my husband knew without my saying one word that there was no way we were staying. I don't mind dirt or spiders, if I'm camping.
Still, I heard the wacky innkeeper give her pitch. Not only did they have a room. but it was upstairs in her adjacent home. It was her son’s room. I'm guessing he was 55 and still lived there. Their home was filthy/disgusting and on and on.
So, this review is really a partial review. We stayed 1/2 hour, changed for the wedding and didn't go back. It's unfortunate, too, they have an amazing piece of property.
Yes, we got our deposit back.
