Economy Inn North Charleston Motel

The hotel was dirty, cleaning people never came to clean our room. The laundry room was too expensive. They charged $2.00 to wash and dry. To use the phone you had to make a deposit of $10 and got charged $.25 per local call. They also charged $5 for a television remote. We were charged $230 for the week. Not worth it.

I stayed in this dump on March 23, 2007.The linens were dirty. The room was out dated and looked it. It was also dirty. I saw three people get escorted off of the property by management and police.

These people are very petty. They gave me one room the toilet didn't flush and it was unacceptably dirty. So my wife complained and the woman didn't want to change rooms. So, finally she allowed us to change rooms. The second room had a fresh coat of paint and that is it. The fridge was moldy and nasty. The so-called kitchenette did not work. None of it.

I felt very unsafe with my kids so I had to cut my stay short. Do not accept shady motel rooms before a 2:00 pm check in time.
