Economy Inn Florence Motel - Page 1

My wife and I looked to spend the night last weekend. After seeing they had a pool, spa, and new management we thought they $75.00 sounded fair. The carpet in the room needed replaced, the bathroom was moldy smelling that carried over to the main room. After realizing the jacuzzi wasn't working, and the very-young manager was unwilling to discount our room rate with the false advertising, we got our credit and left. Apparently my wife left some water color paint in the sink and split a bit of wax on the carpet from a candle we were burning to try in cover up the nasty smell from the bathroom. A few days later I check my checking account and they had billed my $200.00 without notifying me of the problem. For a few dollars more you will find much better places to stay that are looking to stay in business, not just trying to get by.
